Subject: Mark’s Surgery Update

Hi everyone,

This is Herra. Good news! Mark came out of surgery around 11:30 a.m. The doctor was able to repair his heart valve so Mark didn’t need a replacement. God has been truly faithful to answer our prayer! This means that he will not need to be on blood thinners or be subjected to on-going blood tests. He is in ICU until sometime tomorrow morning when he will be transferred to CCU. His breathing tube was taken out about 6 hours after the surgery and he is doing well.
I just want to thank everyone for praying for us and encouraging us with kind words. We hope to thank everyone in person when Mark’s up and running around (literally).
